To marry is defined as: to join a man and a woman as husband and wife. Ok, don’t let the definition or any other negative voices such as; religious standards or believers get in the way. Every human being in the world has their wants and needs, and in my opinion having a soul mate is a need. As a loyal catholic I still don’t understand what the big deal is about two people of the same gender joining hands in marriage. If that is what any person’s heart desires, they should have the right to marry and live a normal life like all married couples. Our world is not getting smaller, it’s getting larger and larger and more diverse by the day, and people you are going to see things change from marriages of the same gender to economical/political crisis in ways that you have never seen before. So people, if you honestly feel that gay marriages are going to ruin the world, please just take the time to look around and realize that diversity is taking place continuously in much more important issues like; war and our governmental debts that should really be looked upon and just give the people, that want it, the respect and legalization to have gay marriages.Legalizing gay marriage represents a huge change. It terrifies people. This issue makes people ask the question, “if we legalize gay marriage, what will we legalize next? How much change is too much?”
Amiee, yeah that is very true! But like I said our world isn’t getting smaller, it’s getting larger and larger and more diverse. So yes no matter what, although gay marriages are illegal it is not going to stop the people from doing what they want and I honestly feel that if this issue isn’t legalized it will never have an end which could form a big issue and our country really does not need another huge issue to worry about.

I agree totaly. The US has dwelled on gay marrage for way to long. Its time to move on. Their are more impotrant things to focous on.
